This winery was founded in 1971 by Roy Raymond Senior and his wife Martha. Since 2009, the estate has been managed by the French family Boisset that could give it new splendour. The person responsible for the high-quality wines since 2010 is Stephanie Putnam, who already worked for Far Niente Winery and Hess Collection. The own vines are cultivated according to biodynamic principles.
The grapes come from the plots of land in California's preferred Zinfandel locations
